Ada’s responsibilities include all company internal accounting functions including the preparation and administration of the company’s annual operating budget, personnel time records, billings and invoicing, AR, AP, and company and project financial reporting. She is the company’s liaison with the company’s CPA’s and administrates all company tax matters.

Additionally, Ada manages all human resource matters for Pro-Ject including employee benefits, payroll, policies and procedures. Ada also administrates the company’s information management systems, computers, and other company technical equipment and resources. Ada also provides training and support for project managers and other company personnel and assists in the preparation of project reports and utilization of company computer software applications, etc. Additional duties included preparing journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, cash flow reporting and month-end accounting reports.

Ada Aguilar was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. She was raised in New York City and New Rochelle, New York. Ada Aguilar was formally trained in computer programming graduating with honors from Advanced Computer College in San Juan, Puerto Rico. During the 80’s she moved back to her native land before relocating in 1992 to Tampa Bay with her husband and three children. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. She is also a member of the Westshore Alliance and has serviced as board member of the Construction Financial Management Association.
